Do you remember playing the game Hide and Seek? My kids love to play hide and seek, even though they always like to know where I’m hiding. Hmm. That tells me something about people.

In some ways, the church has been playing hide and seek lately. Not too long ago, the church found itself at the center of a community’s life – a clearly visible presence known by all. Nowadays, the church is one option among many for people on the go. A church that once was easy to find is now finding itself rather hidden in the midst of many other options.

But in my experience, people want to find the church. They’re not necessarily looking for a church defined by brick and mortar, but they are looking for a church defined by meaningful relationships, Christ-centered living, and an experience with something holy and mighty. Perhaps you fit into that category. I know I do.

At Bethel, we are committed to being that kind of church – and I believe that you will find out what I mean through the pages of this website. God’s people, maturing in their relationships with God and one another.

This website might be the only contact you have with Bethel. If so, I hope that it helps to reveal God’s love in an inspiring way. Or, perhaps you are looking for a church home. If so, I invite you to join us in worship or through one of our small group studies, programs or events. Each will be described in more detail in the pages that follow.

Yes, I’m glad that God has brought you here! It is my prayer that the God who never hides will bless you in your seeking.

Walking by faith,
