Remembering the text John 3:16 “For God so loved the world he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life” shows me God loved us all enough to send a Son who would die for our sins. God had sacrificed his only Son just to show how much he does love us. Jesus had come down to save us from our sins, not to judge what we have done right and wrong. The verse right after says “Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Thinking about John 3:17 makes me wonder how we would be living today if Jesus was not sent down here to save us from our sins. God gave us all the people in our lives to love and take care of us not to sin against or fight with. Jesus showed us by His example how to do that. My mom has guided me through life taking me to church on Sundays and showing me Jesus and God should be an important part of my life. Knowing that makes me feel comforted and lets me know that I am not alone. Everyone in life at some point hits a low point and wonders how or why they got there, but somehow or some way God is there, working through them. Whenever I am feeling alone I do know God is there to guide me through that rough time.
