This is my personal statement of faith and when I felt Jesus was most present in my life. I feel like when Mark met my mom it changed my life and set our family into starting a new one. He brought a smile to my moms face and to me he is so funny he makes me laugh. I see now how God sent Mark into our life. The three things that are most comforting to me about Jesus is that he's forgiven me when I make mistakes. He's always with me when I need him. The last and most important thing is that he died for our sins so that we may have eternal life with him.
There are three ways that I live out my faith in my daily life. My Grandma Weez taught me to read the bible daily and if not every day, I read the bible weekly. I pray every night not unless I fall asleep 1st which sometimes happens. When I 1st started attending church Pastor Rhodes took the time to get to know me I was shy but as our leader in our church I look forward to seeing him every Sunday. It's important to remember that Jesus dies for my sins and that he suffered on the cross so that all of us could have life with him in heaven. I am so thankful that Jesus is in my life and am glad he gave me a mom and dad who love me and continue to guide me with decisions to help me grow up. I pray that with Gods help and my family beside me I can continue to grow in my Christian faith here at Bethel Lutheran Church.
