My faith journey first began when I was 8 years old, and came to Bethel Lutheran church. I didn't know very much about my faith. I started attending Sunday School, to learn more about my faith. Some of the things I learned in Confirmation helped me during a tough time. It was when my Great- Aunt Mary died 4 years ago. I felt sad and confused about what was going on.
But I knew that God was there right beside me, so I felt better. God can be present in good times too. When I had my first Freshmen Volleyball game for Millbrook last week and we won, he was right there happy for me. Now since Confirmation is over my faith road will not stop. I will have my faith knowledge with me wherever I go and whatever job I do. Even though a part of my faith journey has ended, another part of my journey has just begun. |
