Fantastic News!
An anonymous donor has offered to match, dollar for dollar, the amount raised by the Global Missions Auction ... up to $10,000!
You can be part of doubling the dollars in several ways:
 |
Donate items to be sold. Remember, we are not looking for yard sale items. We are looking for good quality items, as well as services (i.e. donating time at a vacation cabin, or donating a consulting session or babysitting services).
|
 |
Come to the auction! Enjoy, and bid. |
 |
Make a monetary donation to increase the proceeds. |
Help meet the challenge of turning $10,000 into $20,000. Each dollar makes a DOUBLE difference, increasing the possibilities for ministry for Christ and His people in India, Tanzania, and The Philippines. Every dollar helps!
Max Is In India!
"So we get to the slums, and all the kids run from their houses and come site under the mud-hut roof and to listen, like it would be in some kind of movie or something. I'm sitting there waiting to start, and Vejay has them sing a song. As usual Solomon is at my shoulder to tell me what the words mean, and he says that the song is about Zacheus. Aha! The Holy Spirit sent a little bullet of inspiration into my brain, and I instantly knew what to talk about. I scratched the Noah idea and flipped through the gospels until I found the Zacheus story. And so after they finished singing I read them the story. And following that this is what I said to them . . ."

Philippines Mission Trip Opens Eyes and Hearts
“It was an amazing experience,” Terri Hollingsworth said. “I’m already planning to go back!” Terri was one of four Bethel members including Howard and Earlene Kemnitz and Suzie Beyer who ventured to The Philippines in February to visit a Lutheran children’s home there. Bethel formed a partnership with the home in early 2005. While there, the four shared Bible stories, visited homes, and played with the 70+ boys and girls involved in the home’s Street Children Program. For pictures and more info, read the Terri Hollingsworth testimonial or the Susie Bayer testimonial or take a look at the April edition of the Bethel Banner.
